What is Reactance Calculator?

The Reactance Calculator is a tool that calculates the opposition offered by inductors and capacitors to alternating current (AC) in a circuit. It computes inductive reactance (Xₗ) and capacitive reactance (Xc) based on the frequency and component values, helping users quickly analyze AC circuits without manual calculations.

How to Use:

  1. Enter Frequency (f, Hz): Input the AC signal frequency in hertz.
  2. Enter Inductance (L, henrys): Optional. Enter the inductor’s value to calculate inductive reactance Xₗ.
  3. Enter Capacitance (C, farads): Optional. Enter the capacitor’s value to calculate capacitive reactance Xc.
  4. Click “Calculate”: The tool computes and displays the reactance values.
  5. Review Result: Check the output for Xₗ and Xc to understand the opposition each component provides to AC current.
