What is the AI API Usage Estimator?

The AI API Usage Estimator helps you calculate the expected token usage and cost when interacting with an AI model via API. By entering your average tokens per request, the cost per 1,000 tokens, and the number of requests per day, the tool estimates daily token usage, daily cost, and projected monthly cost. This is useful for budgeting and planning API expenses.

How to Use:

1. Enter Average Tokens Per Request: Input the typical number of tokens your API request consumes.
2. Enter Cost Per 1,000 Tokens: Input the price charged by the model for 1,000 tokens.
3. Enter Requests Per Day: Input how many requests you plan to make each day.
4. Click “Calculate”: The tool computes:
