What is LLM Cost Tracker?

This tool helps you calculate the total cost of using Large Language Models (LLMs) based on the number of tokens sent as prompts and received as completions. By entering token usage for multiple sessions and the per-1,000-token cost, it provides total tokens, total cost, and average cost per session. It’s ideal for managing AI API budgets and tracking efficiency across multiple requests.

How to Use:

1. Enter Prompt Tokens: Input the number of tokens used for prompts for each session, separated by commas.
2. Enter Completion Tokens: Input the tokens received from the LLM completions in the same order, separated by commas.
3. Enter Cost per 1,000 Tokens: Specify the current pricing for the API in dollars.
4. Click “Track Total Cost”: The tool calculates total prompt tokens, total completion tokens, total tokens used, total cost, and average cost per session.
5. Analyze Results: Use these insights to monitor usage trends, optimize token consumption, and manage your AI expenses effectively.
